PDC World Darts Championship: Raymond van Barneveld moves into round two

Raymond van Barneveld moved into the PDC World Darts Championship second round with a 3-0 victory over unseeded Englishman Robbie Green.

Dutchman Van Barneveld, the 2007 winner and number 12 seed, will next play number 21 seed Alan Norris of England.

Australian Simon Whitlock also made it through, the number 17 seed setting up a match against Darren Webster with a 3-0 victory over Dragutin Horvat.

Earlier, Northern Ireland's Brendan Dolan beat Dutchman Christian Kist 3-1.

Dolan, the number 23 seed, will play Jelle Klaasen or Jeffrey de Graaf in round two.

Germany's Horvat had beaten Boris Koltsov of Russia 2-1 to set up the first-round tie with Whitlock.
