Jonny Clayton has never reached the World Grand Prix quarter-finals before

Jonny Clayton came from a set down to beat Jose de Sousa 3-1 and reach the World Grand Prix quarter-finals for the first time in his career.

The Welshman will play Krzysztof Ratajski on Thursday evening, after the Pole saw off Rob Cross.

Danny Noppert beat Vincent van der Voort 3-0 in an all-Dutch encounter to set up a meeting with Ian White.

White battled back to edge Lithuania's Darius Labanauskas 3-2 in the tightest encounter in the second round of matches at the Morningside Arena in Leicester..
