Tom Daley rounded off an impressive Diving World Series by taking gold in the 10m platform in Tijuana, Mexico.

Although world champion Qiu Bo was absent, Daley still had to beat a quality field to score 562.85.

That was almost 20 points clear of his closest challenger in the 17-year-old's final event before the London Olympics.

Alongside Peter Waterfield, Daley had already won bronze at the final meeting of the World Series to become overall winner in the 10m platform synchro.

The teenager, who had claimed silver in the three previous legs of the World Series, rounded off an impressive performance by scoring 10 in his final dive in the solo event.

Men's 3m synchro pair Chris Mears and Nick Robinson-Baker won silver, and women's platform team Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow took bronze.
