Long-serving Histon full-back Erkan Okay has not been offered a new deal and will leave the club.

The 26-year-old has made 241 starts across two spells with the Stutes, who he initially joined in 2004.

"The manager said he can't offer me anything at this time, which is fair," he told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

"I've been in the game a long time and I understand what my situation is, the things the club have been through - it's looking for a fresh change."

He added: "I'll look back and think I had such an amazing time there.

"I've met some great people, I've been through thick and thin with them and I wouldn't have changed it for the world."

After suffering relegation from the Blue Square Bet Premier this season Histon have yet to determine which league they will play in next term.
