Paul Murray signs new Hartlepool United contract

Murray scored once in 41 appearances for Pools last season

Hartlepool United midfielder Paul Murray has signed a new contract at the club, with terms undisclosed.

The 34-year-old established himself as a regular in the Pools' first-team last term, with 41 appearances and one goal in his first season at the club.

Murray was runner-up in the club's fans player of the year and away player of the year awards in 2010-11.

After starting out at Carlisle, Murray played for six other clubs including Pools, making 468 career appearances.
