Southampton hand new contract to Radhi Jaidi

Promoted League One side Southampton have given a new one-year contract to experienced centre-half Radhi Jaidi.

The 35-year-old Tunisia international made 34 appearances as the Saints secured their return to the Championship after a two-year absence.

The former Bolton and Birmingham City defender told the club website: "The target is to carry on the good work we have completed this season.

"I think we can carry the momentum from this season into the next one."
