Oxford United swoop for striker Jon-Paul Pittman

Oxford United have signed former Wycombe striker Jon-Paul Pittman.
The 24-year-old has agreed a two-year deal at the Kassam Stadium after being released by the Chairboys last week., external
Oxford manager Chris Wilder told the club website: "JP is a very positive player who has the ability to create and score goals.
"I am delighted to have beaten off stiff competition for his signature and he is definitely a signing that will excite the supporters."
Pittman: "I'm very excited by this move and I can't wait wait to get going.
"Being a free agent there were a lot of other clubs after me, but I knew right from the get-go that this was the right club for me."
