Millwall have handed teenage striker John Marquis a three-year contract.

The 19-year-old only signed his first professional deal last summer but has established himself in the first-team squad this season, scoring four goals.

"Next season I want to push on and show the manager, the other players and the fans how good I really am," Marquis told the club's official website.

"I am very pleased to have signed a new contract because Millwall is a very special club."
