Darryl Duffy attracts St Johnstone and Carlisle

Duffy was on loan with Hibs but failed to become a regular starter
St Johnstone and Carlisle United are interested in 27-year-old former Bristol Rovers striker Darryl Duffy.
Duffy joined Hibernian last summer on loan from the Pirates but broke a bone in his foot before making a first-team appearance for the Edinburgh club.
After recovering, he only made four starts for Hibs last season before returning to his parent club.
He is now a free agent after having been released by Rovers, who were relegated from League One, this summer.
Duffy, who started his career with Rangers and was also on the books at Hull City and Swansea City, made his mark at Falkirk under manager John Hughes.
During an 18-month spell at the Bairns, the Scotland B international scored 37 goals in 68 appearances so is well known to Saints boss Derek McInnes.
McInnes wielded the axe at the end of a season his side ended as the lowest scorers in the Scottish Premier League.
Strikers Collin Samuel, Andy Jackson, Peter MacDonald, Jordan Robertson and Scott Dobie were all released along with wingers Danny Invincibile and Cleveland Taylor.
Three forwards - Nahki Wells, Ryan Bowman and Jason Price - have also exited Carlisle this summer.
Duffy spent a month on loan with the Cumbrians in February 2010, scoring one goal from eight appearances for the League One outfit.
He also had a loan spell with Hartlepool United.
