Leyton Orient sign Hartlepool United's Leon McSweeney

Leyton Orient have signed Hartlepool utility player Leon McSweeney on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old, who was not offered a new contract at Victoria Park,, external has signed a two-year deal with the O's.
The Irishman, who can play in defence or midfield, has played for Cork, Leicester, Scarborough and Stockport and several other non-league clubs.
Manager Russell Slade, who managed McSweeney at Scarborough, told the club website: , external"We're delighted to sign him."
"I always try to identify players who can play in a number of positions and Leon can certainly do that.
"He can play wide right in a 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 as well as right-back and as part of a midfield three.
"He's a naturally fit athlete and we're really looking forward to working with him."
