Chesterfield sign Arsenal midfielder Mark Randall

Randall scored one goal in 10 appearances at Rotherham last season

Chesterfield have signed Arsenal midfielder Mark Randall on a one-year contract up to the end of June 2012.

The former Arsenal academy product had loan spells at Burnley, MK Dons and Rotherham before being released by the Gunners at the end of last season.

The 21-year-old told the club's official website: "I have seen the way Chesterfield play and I had no hesitation in signing.

"I am really looking forward to coming to the B2net."
