Blue Square Bet Premier side Barrow have completed the signing of former Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Danny Hurst.
The 30-year-old was released by the Cod Army at the end of last season after missing the first half of the campaign with a broken collar bone.
Hurst has now penned a one-year deal with the Bluebirds.
He will become joint-managers Dave Bayliss and Darren Sheridan's first-choice keeper and has been handed the number one jersey.
Hurst began his career with Radcliffe Borough in 2000 before signing for Fleetwood in 2005.
He spent six seasons at Highbury, and was part of the squad that won the Unibond First Division in 2006, Unibond League Cup in 2007, Unibond Premier Division in 2008 and the Blue Square North play-offs in 2010.
