Burton Albion boss Paul Peschisolido faces keeper choice

Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido has been impressed by trialist keepers Ross Atkins and Bertrand Bossu.

Atkins, 21, plays for Derby, while 30-year-old Frenchman Bossu, who has played for a host of UK clubs, had a recent unsuccessful trial at Yeovil.

Peschisolido said: "Bertrand has been outstanding in the training sessions. Ultimately I've got to do what's best for the football club.

"There's a bit of an issue because obviously Ross has done quite well."

After keeper Adam Legzdins' move to Derby was finalised, it looked likely Atkins would move in the opposite direction but Bossu's training ground form means Peschisolido now faces a tough decision.

"We spoke to Derby with regards to Ross, that if [Legzdins] did go the other way that Ross could do us a job."

Bossu has played at 11 different clubs since arriving in the UK in March 2000 and Peschisolido admits to not knowing too much about the 6ft 7in keeper before the trial.

"I can only go on the references that have been given and from what I've seen in training," he said.
