Bolton sign Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears from Burnley

Eagles joined Burnley from Manchester United in 2008
Bolton have signed Burnley midfielder Chris Eagles and defender Tyrone Mears on three-year deals.
Owen Coyle will be reunited with Mears, 28, and Eagles, 25 whom he signed when he was in charge at Turf Moor.
"Both Chris and Tyrone are top players and have shown they have the ability to compete successfully at the highest level," Trotters boss Coyle said.
It had been reported the two clubs agreed a joint fee, believed to be in the region of £3m.
"I have worked with them both before and know what they will bring to the club in terms of character and commitment and along with Nigel Reo-Coker, we have added real quality to the squad," added Coyle.
Bolton announced on Wednesday that they had signed former Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker, 27, on a two-year contract.
Earlier in July, 26-year-old midfielder Darren Pratley joined the Trotters from Swansea.
Eagles and right-back Mears each had a year left on their contracts but rejected new deals.
"I am an attacking midfielder and I will certainly be looking to chip in with some goals," said Eagles on joining Bolton.
Mears added: "I'm really looking forward to working with a manager I've worked with before and playing in the Premier League.
"From the outside looking in, this has seemed like it is a club going in the right direction."
Eagles began his career at Manchester United in 2003 but failed to break into the first team at Old Trafford.
He was loaned out to Watford, Sheffield Wednesday and NEC Nijmegen before signing a three-year deal with Burnley, external in 2008.
Mears helped Derby gain promotion to the Premier League in 2007
After making one appearance for Manchester City, Mears signed for Preston, external in 2002, helping the Championship club to the play-off semi-finals in 2006.
He signed for West Ham later this summer but struggled to break into the first team and moved to Derby on loan.
Mears joined the Rams, external after helping them secure promotion to the Premier League in 2007.
A loan spell at Marseille, external followed in 2008 before Coyle signed the defender on a three-year deal in 2009.
