Striker Lucas Akins signs new Tranmere Rovers contract

Akins scored twice in 38 appearances last season for Rovers
Tranmere Rovers have handed striker Lucas Akins a new one-year deal, with an option for a further year.
The 22-year-old scored two goals in 38 appearances for Rovers last season following a move from Scottish side Hamilton in August 2010.
"I'm pleased to have sorted Lucas' contract out and glad he'll be part of our squad," boss Les Parry told the club website, external.
"He was a regular last season and his work ethic was fantastic."
