The 38-year-old headed home a cross from Alex Baptiste to put his team in the lead just before the break.

Blackpool started strongly and Phillips saw an early header blocked by Posh keeper Paul Jones before Elliot Grandin hit the follow-up against the woodwork.
Posh forced their way into the game after a quiet start and Ryan Bennett's six-yard header was parried to safety by Gilks.
After Phillips' double either side of half-time, Blackpool almost grabbed a third in the 58th minute when Baptiste crossed to Brett Ormerod who could only fire wide from six yards out.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson then made three substitutions in quick succession in the final quarter of the game.
The changes breathed new life into the visitors as Boyd struck with a right-foot shot from six yards with eight minutes remaining after a mistake from Craig Cathcart but Blackpool held on for victory.
