Portsmouth have signed Hungary striker Marko Futacs from Werder Bremen for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old has penned a one-year deal at Fratton Park, with the option of a further year.
Futacs began his career with Keruleti and Ferencvarosi before moving in 2006 to Nancy, where he scored 18 goals for the reserve side.
This form earned him a move to Bremen, but he spent much of last season on loan at FC Ingolstadt 04.
"It is very exciting and I am very happy to be here," Futacs told the Portsmouth website, external.
"It is fantastic to come to England. I will work very hard to impress the fans."
