Emiliano Insua leaves Liverpool for Sporting Lisbon

Liverpool left-back Emiliano Insua has joined Portugal's Sporting Lisbon on a five-year contract.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, and after the arrival of Jose Enrique earlier this month, found himself further down the pecking order at Anfield.
Neither club has released details of a fee for the Argentine, who joined the Reds aged 17 in 2006, external.
"Sporting is one of the big Portuguese clubs," he told Sporting's website, external.
"I am delighted. The club is looking to win titles and I will give everything for Sporting."
Insua made 62 appearances in his time at Anfield after joining from Boca Juniors, scoring a solitary goal in a 2-1 Carling Cup defeat by Arsenal, external in 2009.
