Darlington have re-signed striker Tadhg Purcell on a one-month loan deal from League Two side Northampton Town.
Purcell, 26, who missed much of last season through injury, scored six goals in 22 games for the Quakers before moving to Northampton in June 2010, external.
"Tadhg has done very well to come back from a bad injury," said Cobblers boss Gary Johnson.
"He is now at the stage where he needs regular, competitive first team games. He is ready for first team football."
Former Quakers boss Steve Staunton signed Purcell from Shamrock Rovers in January 2010, where the Irishman had scored 30 goals in 112 games.
