Burton Albion sign Kevin Amankwaah and Jason Banton

Amankwaah has made more than 200 league appearances

Burton Albion have signed defender Kevin Amankwaah on a short-term deal as well as securing a one-month loan deal for Leicester City winger Jason Banton.

Amankwaah, 29, left Swindon Town in August, and has agreed terms until January following a successful trial.

Banton, 18, is yet to make a full professional appearances for the Foxes, whom he joined following spells at Arsenal, Blackburn and Liverpool.

Both are available for Saturday's League Two visit of Bradford City.
