Rochdale sign Liverpool striker Nathan Eccleston on loan

Rochdale have signed Liverpool striker Nathan Eccleston on a month-long loan.

The Manchester-born 20-year-old has had previous loan spells in League One at Charlton, external and Huddersfield, external.

Last month Eccleston was investigated by his club, external for using Twitter to suggest the 11 September attacks were not the work of terrorists.

"He's a very good man, he's got a lot of fire in his belly, a lot of talent and loves to score a goal," manager Steve Eyre told the club website, external.
