Port Vale have extended the loan spell of Liam Chilvers until 24 December.
The Notts County defender, 30, who has played four games during his loan spell, was scheduled to depart Vale after Tuesday's trip to Bristol Rovers.
Vale are unbeaten since Chilvers' arrival and have conceded just two goals to move up to eighth position.
Meanwhile, Mike Green has joined Blue Square Bet South side Eastleigh on loan for a month and Kingsley James has agreed a similar deal at Chasetown.
Green, a summer signing from non-league AFC Totton, has started five games for Vale this season, while former Sheffield United trainee James is yet to make a first-team appearance for the club.
