Wes Fletcher has returned to parent club Burnley after his loan spell with Accrington Stanley was cut short.

The 20-year-old striker is back with the Championship side after making 10 appearances for the League Two club, scoring two goals.

Fletcher had initially signed on loan at Stanley until January.

Burnley lodged re-call papers with the Football Association on Monday and have confirmed they may look to send him out on loan again.
