Sinton's side beat Gainsborough 5-0 to progress to the FA first round

AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton is confident of the club progressing to the second round of the FA Cup.

The Bucks face a first round trip to either Gloucester or Chelmsford.

"There's nothing to choose between them," Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire. "But it's clearly up to us now to make round two.

"We know Gloucester are a good side from our Blue Square Bet North games last season, and Chelmsford have been steadily improving in the South."

The Telford boss will assess both teams at this Tuesday night's fourth qualifying round replay at Gloucester, the two clubs having drawn 1-1 in Essex on Saturday, while Telford were demolishing Gainsborough 5-0.

"The draw could have been kinder," said Sinton. "But it could have been worse.

"We'll be up for it, and confidence is high at the club. Whoever you play, it's good to get five goals."

Telford United knocked out a host of League clubs in the 1980s, famously reaching the fifth round in 1985 before losing to Everton at Goodison Park.
