Barnet extend Paul Downing loan deal from West Brom

Barnet have extended the loan spell of defender Paul Downing from Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.

The 20-year-old will now remain at Underhill until 2 January.

He has helped the Bees to victories in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and FA Cup since joining the League Two strugglers on 3 November.

Downing told the club website: "It's been really good for me coming here to get some games and an extension to my loan is good for all parties."
