Sean Dyche urges Watford fans to unite

Dyche has secured two wins in his last two home games

Watford boss Sean Dyche has called on the club's fans to back his side rather than focussing on off-field issues.

Hornets owner Laurence Bassini and chairman Graham Taylor say they have put their problems aside following a public disagreement, external.

Dyche told BBC Three Counties Radio, external: "I'm looking for the fans to look for the positives and the players feel that support. So it will be important.

"Everyone has an opinion, but everyone will want the club to do well."

Watford have secured back-to-back wins in their last two home games and, as they prepare for the visit of Portsmouth on Saturday, Dyche is keen for the Vicarage Road faithful to continue their positive impact on the side.

"The last two home games, the way the crowd has supported the team, has been a big part of that," he explained.

"The team has delivered good performances which always makes it easier for the crowd to play their part

"But it's an ongoing thing. If you look for positivity you'll find it and if you look for negativity you'll find that."
