Scunthorpe United have extended the loan of Everton central defender Shane Duffy until 8 January.

It is the third time the Iron have extended the deal for the 19-year-old.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international has made 14 appearances for United so far, scoring once in a 4-2 win over Tranmere.

Meanwhile, United will not appeal against Oliver Norwood's red card shown in the 3-2 defeat at Notts County and he will now serve a three-match ban.

The on-loan Manchester United midfielder will now miss the games against Carlisle United, Bury and Exeter City and return to face Chesterfield on 31 December.
