Kyle McVey and David Scullion have signed extended contracts with Coleraine, which will see them stay at The Showgrounds club until June 2013.

"One of my biggest disappointments since I came here is that I haven't had Kyle available for the majority of the time," said manager Oran Kearney.

"He's one of the best defenders in the local game, so to have him signed on an extended contract is a real boost."

"David is playing so well, enjoying his football and was very keen to stay."

"He was hampered by injury last season, but has worked really hard over the last few months and we're really seeing the benefits now.

"His form has been top notch recently until his injury at The Oval, which we hope won't rule him out for too much longer.

"Things are looking up for Kyle and we should be looking at having him back in action at the end of January," added the Coleraine boss.
