Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer out for up to six weeks

Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has been ruled out of action for up to six weeks with a spinal injury.

The 39-year-old Australian keeper suffered the injury in the match against Swansea on 10 December, external.

"The club can confirm that he has sustained a compression injury to his thoracic spine and that he will be unavailable for four to six weeks," said a Fulham statement.

David Stockdale has been recalled from a season-long loan at Ipswich Town, external.
