Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer out for up to six weeks

Schwarzer is expected to return at the end of January

Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has been ruled out of action for up to six weeks with a spinal injury.

The 39-year-old Australian keeper suffered the injury in the match against Swansea on 10 December.

"The club can confirm that he has sustained a compression injury to his thoracic spine and that he will be unavailable for four to six weeks," said a Fulham statement.

David Stockdale has been recalled from a season-long loan at Ipswich Town.
