Doncaster Rovers have extended the contract of defender Pascal Chimbonda until the end of the season.
The 32-year-old arrived at the Keepmoat Stadium in September as the first signing for manager Dean Saunders.
Since then the one-time France international has made five appearances, although he has been ruled out by a hip injury for the last month.
"The aim is to stay in the Championship," Chimbonda told the club website. , external
He added: "If we do that then we can achieve big things."
Chimbonda was one of a number of signings made by Saunders, along with El-Hadji Diouf, Habib Beye and Herita Ilunga.
"There's a lot who've followed me in that are quality like Diouf and Ilunga, and I want to stay with them," Chimbonda said.
