Lincoln City manager David Holdsworth says striker Kyle Perry can leave the Blue Square Bet Premier club.

Ex-Telford and Tamworth striker Perry, 25, joined on a two-year deal in the summer but has scored only three goals.

Holdsworth told BBC Lincolnshire: "I've had discussions already with one or two clubs who want to take him.

"I've got no problem with Kyle but clearly it hasn't worked out for him or the club. I think it's best that he moves on and gets his head right."

Perry has made 24 appearances for the Imps, scoring twice against his former club Telford and also against Southport on the opening day of the season.

Holdsworth added: "If we can do a deal then Kyle will be able to play football and secondly, it will give me the opportunity to look at other options and balance the squad."
