Derby County seal Tom Naylor deal from Mansfield Town

Naylor was sent off in two of his five appearances for Mansfield this term

Derby County have signed Mansfield Town defender Tom Naylor for an undisclosed fee after a loan spell.

The 20-year-old joined the Rams on loan in November and impressed enough to earn a permanent deal despite not making a first-team appearance.

Naylor has signed a contract at Pride Park until the summer of 2015.

Rams boss Nigel Clough told the club website: "He has settled in really well and we're pleased with the progress he has made."
