Dungannon Swifts sign brothers Emmet and Sean Friars

Emmet Friars is a former Northern Ireland U21 international

Dungannon Swifts boss Rodney McAree has added brothers Emmet and Sean Friars to his Stangmore Park squad.

Central defender Emmet joins after a spell with Derry City while forward Sean arrives from Institute.

The brothers have joined on 18-month contracts and they bring to five the number of players signed by McAree in the last week.

Finn Harps pair JP Gallagher and Marc Brolly were brought in along with former Glenavon midfielder Ryan Harper.

Gallagher, Brolly and Harpur are also on 18-month contracts.
