Carlisle United sign Liam Noble from Sunderland

Noble has made 50 appearances for the Cumbrians
Carlisle United have signed midfielder Liam Noble on a free transfer from Premier League side Sunderland.
The 20-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with a sell-on clause, having scored eight goals in 50 games during two loan spells at Brunton Park.
"I feel wanted here," Noble told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"I've been either in or around the starting eleven here, the lads are great, the board and the staff are great, it was a no-brainer really."
Despite emerging from the same Sunderland academy side as Martyn Waghorn, external, Noble failed to make a first-team appearance at the Premier League club.

After making his professional bow at Carlisle while a loan player, he went on to pick up a Wembley winners medal in last season's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final, external as the Cumbrians beat Brentford 1-0.
This season Noble has been a regular fixture in a United side that is nestled in the League One play-offs and on the back of a six-match unbeaten run.
"Everything was 100% right to come here," he added.
"Every player one day wants to play in the Premier League but my job now is playing every week for Carlisle.
"It's going to be hard getting ahead of Charlton [League One leaders] who look like but the next five positions are up for grabs.
"We've had a good run, we've got the potential and the players to do it but touch wood we'll definitely get in the play-offs if we stick together as a group."
