Irish Premiership side Carrick Rangers have signed League of Ireland players Philip Byrne and Shane Dolan.
Central defender Byrne, 29, started his career with Shelbourne before going on to Kildare County, Sporting Fingal, Longford Town and Monaghan United.
Dolan is a 23-year-old striker who has played for Athlone Town and most recently Drogheda United in the League of Ireland Premier Division.
Carrick hope both will be eligible for Saturday's match against Glentoran.
Now managed by former Northern Ireland international Michael Hughes, Carrick are just one point ahead of bottom-placed Glenavon in the Premiership.
Saturday's match against the Glens will be at Seaview where Rangers have been playing their home games this season.
They have not won at their temporary headquarters in the Premiership, winning six and losing six matches.
