Danny Swanson to be offered new Dundee United contract

Dundee United have moved to end speculation that injured midfielder Danny Swanson will not be offered a new contract beyond the summer.
The 25-year-old has made only 17 starts since United won the Scottish Cup in May 2010.
But United manager Peter Houston told BBC Scotland: "We've been leaving him to concentrate on getting fit.
"But we'll definitely be speaking to him and he'll be offered a deal."
Swanson, whose current contract with the Scottish Premier League club expires at the end of the season, suffered medial ligament damage on 15 October against Aberdeen.
His latest injury blow came shortly after he was called into Craig Levein's Scotland squad for the first time.
However, the player who moved to United from Berwick Rangers in January 2008 returned to first-team action as a late substitute in Saturday's 2-1 defeat by Celtic.
Now, after making a recovery four weeks later than the two months originally diagnosed, he is being considered for a starting place at home to Motherwell on Saturday.
