Kidderminster defenders Lee Vaughan and Mickey Demetriou have signed new deals tying them to the club until the end of the 2013-14 season.

Vaughan, 25, is in his second season at Aggborough, while 21-year-old Demetriou joined the club from Eastbourne Borough last summer.

Boss Steve Burr described Vaughan as "one of the best right-backs outside the Football League".

He added: "The thing about both boys is they are young and hungry."

As well as his defensive duties, Vaughan has contributed four goals this season.

Burr added: "We want to keep building and improving on what we have here.

"It's nice for our supporters to know that we have two lads who are going to be here for another couple of years."
