Goalkeeper George Long signs new Sheffield United deal

Sheffield United goalkeeper George Long has signed an extended contract with the League One side, keeping him at Bramall Lane until 2016.

Long, 18, has made four first team appearances for the Blades this season and been on the bench for all the other games.

Boss Danny Wilson told the club website: "We are delighted he has committed his future to the club.

"It means we keep a fantastic prospect, who has a great future ahead of him."
