Dagenham & Redbridge sign John Akinde & Charlie Wassmer

Dagenham & Redbridge have signed striker John Akinde and defender Charlie Wassmer on loan from Crawley Town until the end of the season.

Akinde, 22, ended last season on loan at the Daggers from Bristol City and joined Crawley in the summer, but he has only scored one goals in 25 games.

Wassmer, 20, joined the Red Devils from Fleetwood 12 months ago and has made 14 appearances this season.

Neither player will be able to face Crawley next month.
