Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean sets points target

Blackburn boss Steve Kean says Rovers must win two and draw one of their remaining four games to stand any chance of avoiding relegation.

Rovers, who have not been out of the Premier League since promotion from the Championship in 2000-01, lost a fifth straight game, beaten 3-0 at Swansea.

They are three points from safety and have away games at Tottenham and Chelsea still to come.

"We'll have to win two games and get a draw from somewhere," said Kean.

Blackburn are second to bottom and their next match is at home to mid-table Norwich on 21 April, a game the Scot has marked down as a must-win game.

"It is obvious what we have to do. We have to win our next game," added Kean.

"It's as simple as that."

However, Blackburn could be without both Grant Hanley and Yakubu for the visit of the Canaries.

Defender Hanley rolled his ankle against Swansea and had to be replaced at the start of the second half while Yakubu damaged a knee.

"The medical team say we have to be careful," said Kean of Yakubu, who has scored 16 league goals this season.

"He's had [the problem] before. We had to bring him off as a precaution but hopefully he'll be ready for the next game.

"I think Grant's is serious - he couldn't come back on and there's heavy swelling."
