Reading offer new deal to Ian Harte but trio leave

Reading defender Ian Harte is in talks over a new contract at the club but Andy Griffin, Brian Howard and Tomasz Cywka have all been released.

Harte, 34, is now out of contract but has been offered a new deal while midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson is also in discussions over a new contract.

Reading were promoted to the Premier League last month.
