Jersey manager predicts Jersey FC within five seasons

Jersey will send a team into an English league within five years, the island's boss has predicted.
Manager Craig Culkin says he has "no doubt" Jersey will eventually follow in the footsteps of Guernsey FC.
"I think it's three to five seasons away from happening," he told BBC Radio Jersey.
"We can learn from the rugby club and Guernsey FC, weigh up the pros and cons and make an informed decision in the next season or two."
The Jersey Football Combination side will travel to San Marino next season to represent the English FA in the Uefa Regions Cup after winning the FA Inter-League Cup in April.
When Guernsey had that honour in 2010 it acted as the spark for them to form Guernsey FC. The club side then clinched the Combined Counties Division One title in their first year in the English football pyramid.
Culkin believes it is a pathway Jersey could replicate in the coming years.
"I think the springboard for it may be the San Marino trip," he told BBC Radio Jersey.
"I don't think there's a rush for it. As much as I'd like it to happen there are drawbacks in terms of the travel arrangements.
"There is an impact financially and logistically but we've got time on our hands, watch this space."
