York City have extended the contract of midfielder Scott Kerr by another year to keep him at the club next season.

Kerr was named Clubman of the Year at the end of last season and also won the Player's Player of the year award.

The 30-year old is currently working his way back to fitness after suffering a cruciate ligament injury in March in the FA Trophy semi-final at Luton.

He has made 50 appearances for York since he signed for them from Lincoln City in January 2011., external
