York City extend utility man Jamal Fyfield's contract

York City's Jamal Fyfield has signed a new one-year deal at Bootham Crescent, with the option of a further year.

The 23-year-old left-sided player appeared 35 times for the Minstermen last campaign as they gained promotion to the Football League.

Fyfield joined York from Maidenhead in 2010 as a left-back, but is also able to provide cover on the wing.

He joins Oli Johnson in signing a new deal for the club as York look to build ahead of the new season.
