Guernsey FC came back from 2-0 down to beat Egham Town 5-2 in the Combined Counties Premier Division.

James McShane and Joshua Andrews gave the visitors an early lead before Ross Allen scored before half time.

Dominic Heaume got two in the second half along with one for Dave Rihoy to seal the win at Footes Lane.

"Come the end of the game I was delighted, but for the first half-and-hour I was very, very angry," assistant manager Colin Fallaize said.

"I vented my feelings to the boys, but nonetheless I was happy because the response was great.

"We started to do things that I don't believe we've done for the past couple of games.

"We did the dirty things and the hard work that makes success and that showed in the end," he added to BBC Guernsey.

The match saw a return for influential midfielder Angus MacKay after six weeks off with a hip injury and he, along with a number of other players, impressed Fallaize.

"I was really pleased with the effort that Angus MacKay put in on his first game back.

"Dom Heaume travelled miles on that pitch and put in a massive shift and Dave Rihoy was very instrumental in important times in the game."
