Roberto Mancini calls for defensive improvement after Liverpool draw

Roberto Mancini believes Manchester City deserved their 2-2 draw against Liverpool, but has told his team to tighten up in defence.
The Blues have now conceded two goals in each of their last three games, and they needed a misplaced backpass from Martin Skrtel to allow Carlos Tevez to score a late equaliser at Anfield.
"I think that a draw is a correct result in the end," he told BBC Sport.
"[But now] is the time to finish conceding two goals every game."
The champions enjoyed a 3-2 win over Chelsea in the Community Shield and the same scoreline gave them three points on the opening weekend against Southampton.
"We didn't deserve to lose [against Liverpool] because in the first 30 minutes we played very well and we had a lot of chances to score," said Mancini.
"We have taken one point when we went down two times. I don't think there are a lot of teams that come here and push Liverpool in their half.
"In the first 30 minutes we had three or four incredible chances but we conceded a goal from a corner and it changes.
"We are not 100% for many reasons, for this it is important we didn't lose this game.
"We want to win, but also here [at Anfield] we know it is difficult. One point is good at this moment."
Mancini was full of praise for Tevez, whose equaliser was his 100th goal in the English game and his second of the season following his opener against Southampton on the opening weekend.
"Carlos is in good form at this moment. I am happy for him. It is important he continues to play like he did in these two games," Mancini said.
Mancini now turns his attention to adding to his squad ahead of Friday's transfer deadline.
The City manager is hoping to strengthen his squad even further and the Premier League champions have had a bid accepted for Swansea attacker Scott Sinclair.
"We need to bring players in," he added. "We have to work hard for this over the next four or five days."
