Oxford United have signed defender Daniel Boateng from Arsenal on loan until January.
The 19-year-old spent the end of last season on loan at Swindon Town where he made two appearances for Paolo Di Canio's promotion-winning side.
Boateng, who is a product of Arsenal's academy system, is yet to play a Premier League game.
He was eligible for the U's Capital One Cup tie against Leeds United and was named on the bench.
The centre-back, who has been at Arsenal since the age of 11, made his first team debut playing in the Gunners' League Cup win over Bolton last season.
