Arsenal teenager Chuks Aneke to join Crewe Alexandra

Crewe have signed Arsenal midfielder Chuks Aneke on loan for a month.

Aneke, who made his only appearance for the Gunners as a substitute in a League Cup tie last season, has also had spells with Preston.

He will provide another midfield option for the Alex, who sold Ashley Westwood to Aston Villa on deadline day.

The 19-year-old will be eligible to face Tranmere on Saturday, as long as the League One club receive clearance from the Premier League in time.
