Norwich City midfielder David Fox has signed a new two-year contract, with an option for a further year.
The deal ties 28-year-old Fox, who was signed from Colchester two years ago, to Norwich until at least 2014.
Fox has made 68 appearances for the Canaries but was hampered by injuries last season.
"I'm nowhere near match fit, but you only get that by training and playing games. It's up to me to take my chance when I get it," he said.
"I've now got to impress the manager and show him why I should be in the team."
Fox began his career as a trainee with Manchester United but moved on to Blackpool for three years before joining Colchester.
"He's got plenty of quality and experience which I'm sure he'll continue to bring to the squad like he has since he arrived at the club," Norwich manager Chris Hughton told the club website., external
"He's missed a lot of pre-season but it's great to have him back in training, fully fit and available for selection."
