Hibs' Gary Deegan out for weeks after jaw surgery

Hibernian midfielder Gary Deegan has undergone surgery on a broken jaw after an attack in Edinburgh city centre.
The Irishman, a summer signing from Coventry City, faces weeks on the sidelines following the incident on George Street at 03:00 BST on Sunday.
A Hibs spokesperson said: "Gary was the victim of an unprovoked attack at the weekend and has since had surgery.
"It is not clear at this stage how long he will be out for, but it will be a number of weeks."
Police have appealed for witnesses and are still searching for Deegan's attacker following the incident outside Hardrock Cafe.
The 25-year-old has made nine appearances for Hibs and, during his time at Easter Road, the Edinburgh side have only lost once in eight Scottish Premier League outings.
That improvement in form, following an opening-day 3-0 defeat by Dundee United, has lifted Pat Fenlon's side to second place in the table.
